Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in cooking or culinary roles
  • knowledge of food safety practices and production standards
  • ability to operate kitchen appliances safely
  • must acquire or possess food safety certification
  • strong attention to detail and adherence to hygiene standards
  • effective communication skills
  • physical capability to perform kitchen duties including standing for long periods and handling equipment safely

Job Duties

  • safely use various utensils including knives
  • operate appliances such as ovens, cookers, mixers, and cutting machinery
  • use cooking methods like baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming
  • structure, enhance, and portion cuisine according to regulations
  • maintain food safety through proper storage
  • ensure sanitary conditions of work areas, devices, and utensils
  • deliver excellent customer service with a cheerful demeanor
  • comply with safety protocols focusing on food safety and sanitation
  • uphold safety measures for organizational resources
