Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a cooking or kitchen role
  • willingness to obtain food safety certification
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and production instructions
  • physical capability for kitchen duties including lifting and standing
  • good communication skills
  • flexibility to adapt duties across different locations

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a cook or in a related culinary role
  • knowledge of basic food preparation principles and cooking methods
  • understanding of food safety regulations including handling, sanitation, and storage
  • ability to acquire food safety certification
  • basic math and counting skills
  • strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal
  • physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand or walk for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Follow production instructions and standardized recipes to prepare diverse dishes
  • ready workstations with required tools and ingredients
  • measure, weigh, blend, cut, trim, and peel food items
  • safely use utensils including knives and handle kitchen appliances
  • apply various cooking methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming
  • structure, enhance, and portion cuisine following established regulations
  • maintain food quality and safety through proper storage and sanitation
  • uphold sanitary and germ-free work environments
  • ensure top-notch customer service and maintain a cheerful demeanor
  • comply with food safety and organizational safety protocols
