Job Requirements

  • Experience as a cook or related role
  • Knowledge of food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
  • Ability to obtain food safety certification
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical ability for lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing

  • Experience as a cook or in a related role
  • Knowledge of food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
  • Ability to obtain food safety certification
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Physical capability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing

Job Duties

  • Adapt duties and responsibilities to meet client requirements and operational needs
  • Prepare food following production instructions and standardized recipes
  • Ready workstations with required tools and ingredients
  • Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, blending, cutting, trimming, and peeling
  • Safely use utensils including knives
  • Operate appliances such as ovens, cookers, cutting machinery, and mixers
  • Use cooking methods like baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming
  • Portion and present cuisine according to established regulations
  • Maintain food quality and safety through proper storage
  • Keep work areas, devices, and utensils sanitary and germ-free
  • Provide excellent customer service with a cheerful and approachable demeanor
  • Comply with Aramark food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Ensure safety of organizational resources
