The Regional Chef will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of dishes by following standardized recipes and production instructions. You will maintain a clean and sanitary workstation equipped with all necessary tools and ingredients, and you will expertly measure, weigh, blend, cut, trim, and peel food items to ensure high-quality food preparation. Proficiency in safe utensil use, particularly knives, as well as in operating kitchen appliances such as ovens, cookers, cutting machinery, and mixers, is essential.

Your culinary skills will be demonstrated through an array of cooking methods including baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming, allowing you to prepare meats, vegetables, and other foods to perfection. You will also be responsible for plating and portioning food according to standardized guidelines while ensuring food quality and safety through proper storage and handling techniques, in full compliance with food safety policies.

Maintaining a germ-free and sanitary environment in all work areas, utensils, and devices is a critical responsibility, supported by strict adherence to Aramark’s safety protocols. Job Requirements

  • Experience as a cook or related role required
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
  • Ability to acquire food safety certification
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking
