Job Requirements
- Class A CDL license
- One year of tractor-trailer experience
- 22 years or older
- Ability to start work between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m.
- Willingness to travel routes covering VA, GA, SC, and NC
- Capability to work a five-day workweek with occasional weekends
- Ability to operate late-model equipment
- Commitment to no slip seating policy
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Minimum one year of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Proven knowledge of regional routes in VA, GA, SC, and NC
- Ability to meet physical and health requirements for commercial driving
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Clean driving record and adherence to safety protocols
Job Duties
- Operate tractor-trailer safely and efficiently on assigned regional routes
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company driving regulations and safety standards
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records in compliance with DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and deadlines
- Maintain and report any vehicle maintenance needs promptly
