The Refreshments Operator II - SBE is a vital role within Aramark’s operations, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service by managing and maintaining product inventory and equipment at client locations. This position is crucial in ensuring that customers receive high-quality refreshments, with products that are fresh and well-stocked. The operator is responsible for a variety of tasks including unloading inventory, monitoring product freshness by checking date codes, and managing the routine ordering, delivery, and stocking of snacks and drinks. Using technology such as a laptop computer, the operator keeps accurate records of stock levels (PAR levels), processes product orders, and handles client invoicing efficiently.

Beyond stocking duties, the Refreshments Operator II acts as a brand ambassador during client interactions, promoting new offers and maintaining strong communication with customers to identify their needs and deliver optimal service. The role also includes light maintenance such as cleaning equipment and exchanging decanters to ensure operational standards are met. Operators must be able to perform minor repairs and communicate issues or competitive activity within client locations to management. Success in this role depends on strong organizational skills, time management, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a keen attention to detail.

Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a position requiring interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Physical ability to repeatedly lift packages up to 50lb
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Must be willing to travel to other locations to assist with short notice
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Role requires frequent bending, keying/fingering, hearing, speaking, and lifting
  • Role requires constant reaching, seeing, standing, and walking

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Unload and stock daily inventory at customer site, ensuring freshness of products by monitoring date codes
  • Manage the ordering, delivery, and stocking of items at client location
  • Communicate with customer employees about new product interest
  • Use a laptop computer to manage stocking PAR levels, product orders and client invoicing
  • Perform repairs to best of ability
  • Call in orders and service calls to head office
  • Distribute promotional materials and merchandise complete product line
  • Clean equipment and exchange decanters on each visit
  • Communicate with Route Sales Manager or General Manager regarding customers and report on pending problems or competitor evidence
  • Establish and maintain good working relationship and liaison with customers to project a positive image of the company and product
