The Clift Royal Sonesta San Francisco, one of the flagship properties, is currently seeking a polished and engaging Cocktail Server to join the iconic Redwood Room team. The Redwood Room is famous for its historic ambiance, elevated cocktail program, and sophisticated guest experience, attracting both hotel guests and local patrons. This role is essential in delivering exceptional food and beverage service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, professionalism, and efficiency in a luxury setting. The Cocktail Server will be responsible for providing attentive and courteous service, possessing thorough knowledge of cocktail menus, wine, beer, spirits, and food offerings. This position requires excellence in guest engagement, including accurately entering orders in the POS system, processing payments, and anticipating guest needs to enhance their overall dining experience. The Cocktail Server must also ensure that all beverages are served responsibly and in compliance with California alcohol service laws.

Beyond guest interactions, the Cocktail Server will collaborate closely with bartenders, hosts, kitchen staff, and leadership to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience. Responsibilities also include maintaining cleanliness and organization in service areas, assisting with opening, closing, and side work duties, all while upholding a polished appearance and professional demeanor. The role requires flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays and the physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods while carrying trays weighing up to 25 pounds.
