The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing all facets of the restaurant operation: from organizing and directing training for staff, handling scheduling, coaching, and evaluating performance, to managing labor shortages by stepping into various roles as needed. This hands-on leadership approach ensures smooth day-to-day operations and continuous quality control. Monitoring compliance with food safety, health, fire regulations, and liquor laws is a key part of the role, maintaining the safety and legality of all food and beverage services. Additionally, the Assistant Manager takes charge of addressing and resolving any guest complaints regarding food quality and service, a testament to the resort's dedication to customer satisfaction. They are also involved in the recruitment process by conducting interviews and hiring new staff members to maintain a competent and dedicated team. The role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to handle high-pressure situations professionally, and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive work environment. This is a medium strength category job, necessitating physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing, walking, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. The environment can be busy and noisy with the presence of flashing lights, typical of casino and resort settings.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals experienced in full-service restaurant and bar environments who are passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to a vibrant and culturally rich workplace. Being part of the Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort family means embracing the mission of Tribal Hospitality and playing an essential role in delivering an outstanding dining experience that honors tradition and excellence.
