Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or event setting
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • ability to work under pressure
  • proficiency in Windows operating systems
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • ability to navigate through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • at least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or event setting
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
  • proficiency in Windows operating systems
  • familiarity with event management software is a plus
  • fluency in English
  • additional languages are a plus

Job Duties

  • Meet with group coordinators or hosts prior to functions to introduce yourself and confirm all arrangements are satisfactory
  • Review and analyze Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to gather guest information, determine proper setup, timelines, and specific guest needs, including buffets and action stations
  • Respond to and fulfill any special banquet event arrangements, ensuring compliance with client specifications
  • Oversee the setup of meeting rooms to ensure they are show room ready and meet event specifications
  • Act as the primary point of contact during events, addressing any issues or special requests promptly
  • Coordinate with banquet staff to ensure smooth transitions between event phases
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure all event materials are returned and rooms are restored to their original condition
  • Assist in billing of conference billing
  • Maintain accurate records of event details and communications
