Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or event setting
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- ability to work under pressure
- proficiency in Windows operating systems
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- ability to navigate through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- at least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or event setting
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
- proficiency in Windows operating systems
- familiarity with event management software is a plus
- fluency in English
- additional languages are a plus
Job Duties
- Meet with group coordinators or hosts prior to functions to introduce yourself and confirm all arrangements are satisfactory
- Review and analyze Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to gather guest information, determine proper setup, timelines, and specific guest needs, including buffets and action stations
- Respond to and fulfill any special banquet event arrangements, ensuring compliance with client specifications
- Oversee the setup of meeting rooms to ensure they are show room ready and meet event specifications
- Act as the primary point of contact during events, addressing any issues or special requests promptly
- Coordinate with banquet staff to ensure smooth transitions between event phases
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure all event materials are returned and rooms are restored to their original condition
- Assist in billing of conference billing
- Maintain accurate records of event details and communications
