Job Requirements

Associate's degree from accredited college or university
minimum three years full-time work experience in recreation or related field
valid Nevada or border state driver's license
ability to acquire licenses and certifications within 3 to 6 months
willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
ability to pass background check and drug/alcohol testing

Job Qualifications

Associate's degree in Parks and Recreation, Sports Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Services, or related field
three years of full-time experience in recreation, special events, or sports programming
equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
valid Nevada or border state driver’s license
ability to obtain required certifications such as American Red Cross First Aid and CPR
desirable bachelor’s degree in related field

Job Duties

Develops recreation programs
coordinates and implements activities
schedules and evaluates services
supervises staff and volunteers on-site
manages special events
maintains safety and compliance standards
liaises with community partners
