The role of Assistant Pool and Beach Manager supports the Director of Recreation in overseeing all aspects of the pool and beach areas, including maintenance, cleanliness, and the operation of cabana units. As a full-time management position with a pay range of $57,000 to $77,000 annually and eligibility for bonuses, this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring guest and employee satisfaction, while maximizing financial performance. This position entails supervising staff, supporting daily operations, scheduling events, and coordinating activities such as children’s programs and group events like sand painting and bonfires. In addition to managing the recreational environment, the Assistant Pool and Beach Manager acts as a role model for service excellence, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to deliver outstanding customer service. The manager also handles vendor relations, supply management, and personnel development, ensuring that every aspect of the pool and beach facilities reflects JW Marriott's commitment to incredible guest experiences. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience in recreation or health club operations or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree from accredited university in Health Education, Physical Education, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
