The 92 Force Support Squadron at Clear Lake Resort, Fairchild Air Force Base (AFB), Washington, is a vital component of the United States Air Force's Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) program. Job Requirements
- Must complete a background investigation with favorable results
- may require working a variable schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- U.S. citizen or non-U.S. national who has resided in the U.S. territory for three or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of federal affiliation or has a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement
- male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service
- direct deposit is required
- satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
- ability to provide a REAL ID or present authorized combination of source identity documents to facilitate installation access
- pre-employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD)
- no payment for Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs
- may be subject to a probationary period
- selections may be subject to restrictions due to hiring preferences and priority consideration eligibilities
Job Qualifications

- practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures
- ability to safeguard and handle cash
- skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable
- no experience is required
Job Duties
- Set up recreation areas for scheduled activities
- record attendance
- take reservations and payment for trips and tours
- notify participants of schedule changes
- arrange for equipment or tools, charge them out to participants, and check them for condition on their return
- decorate community or neighborhood centers or recreation centers for special events, activities, or parties
- string tennis or volleyball nets
- line base lines and base paths
- set up batting cages
- check the established safety system of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities and areas, tools, and equipment
- post announcements of scheduled activities and answer inquiries about item, place, transportation, or other matters related to activities scheduled
- take inventory of authorized recreation supplies and equipment
- help with group activities which require more than one staff monitor, performing specifically assigned tasks
- perform other related duties as assigned
