Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in clerical or secretarial work preferred
  • proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • willingness to complete Medication Administration Training course
  • ability to work 8 hours per day Monday through Friday

Job Qualifications

  • Strong human relations skills to communicate and deal effectively with students, parents, administrators, staff and public
  • computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access
  • experience with Skyward preferred
  • ability to prioritize, organize, and work independently
  • ability to take initiative and work under pressure
  • ability to handle frequent interruptions and refocus
  • completed or willing to complete Medication Administration Training course

Job Duties

  • Provide clerical support to the Assistant Principal
  • assist in scheduling process including registration and master schedule
  • maintain student records such as grades, transfers, schedules, schedule changes, and class lists
  • prepare correspondence and reports
  • collect and check grade slips, enter information into computer systems, and distribute report cards
  • perform other duties as assigned within the level of responsibility by the supervisor
