Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in assisted living or senior care preferred
  • Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to type and use ten key adding machine
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Good interpersonal skills with residents, families, staff, and the public
  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
  • Visual acuity and good hearing
  • Willingness and desire to work with elderly individuals

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in assisted living or healthcare-related customer service preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use basic office software and equipment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse populations
  • Ability to multitask and manage interruptions
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Basic clerical skills including typing and filing

Job Duties

  • Greet residents, visitors, staff, and prospective clients in a positive and service-oriented manner
  • Provide information and referral to residents, visitors, and staff
  • Perform clerical tasks such as typing, filing, and light bookkeeping
  • Manage front desk operations and handle multiple interruptions effectively
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written forms
  • Assist with conflict resolution and maintain a welcoming environment
  • Collaborate with team members to support the needs of residents and the facility
