The role of Receptionist/Office Coordinator is based at Clayco's Birmingham office, where the incumbent will be responsible for providing comprehensive general office support through various clerical activities and related tasks. This position requires a motivated and hard-working individual who can manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced work environment. Key responsibilities include managing incoming telephone calls, directing visitors and calls to appropriate associates, overseeing the distribution of mail and correspondence, as well as requisitioning office supplies and performing other clerical duties as assigned. This role is critical to maintaining the smooth operation of the office and supporting the daily functions of the team. The receptionist must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, a friendly and welcoming demeanor both over the phone and in person, and the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. This full-time, Monday through Friday position is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with 3 to 5 years of experience who enjoys a dynamic work setting and is proactive in ensuring office operations run seamlessly.
