Job Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of previous work experience in a community-based health or social service setting
- Prior AMS experience preferred
- Knowledge of computer software programs preferred
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to remain calm and be diplomatic
- Good decision making and judgment skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good verbal and written skills
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Must possess sight, hearing and digital senses or use prosthesis that enable essential job functions
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Manage the Interceptor Desk during clinic hours
- Collect urine specimens from patients randomly in line with program policies
- Maintain systems for urine specimen collection to ensure compliance
- Greet visitors and patients and direct them to appropriate service areas
- Use computer programs to flag patients for scheduling casework or medical appointments
- Prepare all forms, labels, and ledgers required for specimen collection
- Prepare specimens for laboratory pickup
- Ensure supplies for specimen collection are available
- Assist in minimizing lines at the Nurse's Station
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Provide backup support to Medical Records when needed
- Maintain positive relationships with staff, clients, and visitors
- Report incidents and recommend improvements to supervisors
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Director
