Job Duties
- Answers central telephone system and directs calls accordingly
- screens and transfers calls with minimal hold or unattended time
- takes complete and accurate messages and distributes messages timely
- checks the answering machine in the morning and retrieves messages
- receives and sorts incoming mail, express envelopes, and courier deliveries
- distributes mail to employee mailboxes and delivers express envelopes via email notification
- prepares and posts all outgoing mail and express envelopes daily
- maintains, checks, and refills postage meter
- logs outgoing express envelopes and arranges courier services
- checks inventory of supply room and office supplies daily
- prepares orders and receives approval from HR
- straightens and maintains orderly reception area
- duplicates and distributes materials
- composes, types, and edits correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material
- maintains office supply inventory
- performs other duties as required
- demonstrates solid communication skills both written and verbal
- ensures follow-through, ethical conduct, and effective time management
