Currently, SRC, Inc. is seeking a Temporary Receptionist to join its team based in Syracuse, New York. This role is essential in supporting various departments and employees by facilitating daily operational needs in a fast-paced environment. The Temporary Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact, managing responsibilities such as answering and routing telephone calls, welcoming and screening visitors, maintaining visitor records, and providing logistical support for meetings, including IT coordination and conference room scheduling. The position demands meticulous organizational skills to handle tasks like processing vendor payments and requisitions, managing catering requests, procuring office supplies, and maintaining filing systems to ensure accuracy and confidentiality of records. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual capable of handling multiple priorities and participating in special projects and administrative duties as assigned. The expected salary range for this position is $17.00 to $19.80 per hour, reflective of the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0+ years of experience
  • Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Job Duties

  • Answer, screen, and route telephone calls
  • Greet, screen and badge visitors and guests
  • Update and track the visitor database
  • Provide reception support to the various buildings as needed, including stocking supplies, supporting meetings, and checking for badges
  • Support internal and external meetings including coordinating IT support, scheduling conference rooms, and room setup
  • Process vendor payments, requisitions, and other electronic forms as needed
  • Review and process catering requests
  • Procure office supplies, equipment, and related facility needs
  • Assist with special projects and other administrative tasks
  • Maintain filing systems to safeguard complete and accurate records
  • Compile data for reports
  • Distribute mail
  • Perform additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned
