The role of a Receptionist at NFMC is critical in supporting the center's commitment to exceptional patient care. This full-time position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., involves being the first point of contact for all callers, patients, and visitors. The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming and assisting individuals in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring every interaction promotes a positive and reassuring patient experience. The position includes essential administrative duties such as answering phones promptly, scheduling patient appointments, checking patients in and out, completing patient demographic information, verifying insurance coverage, and collecting fees at the time of the visit. Adhering strictly to the policies and procedures outlined in NFMC's receptionist manual, the Receptionist plays a pivotal role in maintaining smooth office workflow and supporting clinical staff.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year certificate from college or technical school or one year or more related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in using telephone systems and scheduling software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
