This job opportunity is with an independent contractor agent of State Farm, a renowned insurance and financial services company. State Farm agents operate independently and handle their own hiring and employment decisions. The role offered is that of an Agent Team Member who will serve as a frontline representative for the State Farm independent contractor agent. The Agent Team Member will be responsible for establishing and nurturing customer relationships, following up as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to successfully explain complex insurance concepts and to market products effectively.
The Agent Team Member will also be involved in developing leads, scheduling appointments, identifying customer needs, and applying their knowledge to market the appropriate products and services. The position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should be able to learn and operate computer systems efficiently and be flexible in meeting the fast-paced demands of the agency environment.
This is a full-time position offering an annual salary range from $55,000 to $75,000 with added earning potential from commissions and bonuses.
