Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of customer service and office experience
- Fingerprint certificates obtained within 90 days of hire
- First Aid and CPR certified within 30 days and maintained
- Ability to maintain composure in a busy environment
- Must handle confidential information according to HIPAA
- Prepared to work Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
- Able to sit, stand, and walk with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of customer service experience preferably in a behavioral health environment
- Certified in First Aid and CPR within the first 30 days of employment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience working with Native American populations preferred
- Understanding of the recovery process for chemically dependent individuals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Job Duties
- Welcomes clients, providing a warm welcome and assistance with any paperwork needed
- Greets and refers visitors to appropriate individuals or agencies
- Informs and assists the public with NAC programs and procedures
- Receives and accurately distributes calls, faxes, mail, and messages
- Creates initial client files in the EHR system
- Sets client appointments and logs them accurately in the EHR system daily
- Assists with the flow and processing of client referrals and eligibility
- Maintains appearance of reception area and lobby
- Assists with ordering, receipt, distribution, and monitoring of supplies
- Performs other duties as assigned
