Job Requirements
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Must be able to safely lift and maneuver trays of food and drink when necessary
- Occasional bending
- Occasional sitting
- Must be available to work varying shifts including holidays and weekends
- Must have weekday morning availability with weekend flexibility
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client facing and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with Excel programs
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment
- Restaurant experience a plus
Job Duties
- Greets members and guests as they enter the Club and Dining Room areas
- Guides members to appropriate areas of the Club and to designated tables in the dining area
- Addresses all members in a professional manner and by name if possible
- Answers telephone calls promptly and courteously and directs all calls to the appropriate areas
- Provides members with accurate information about Club events and directs any further questions to the appropriate individual or department
- Takes reservations and inputs information into the POS system
- Stays current with the Dining Room Menu offerings
- Takes ownership of member issues and follows problems through to resolution
- Engages in making sincere, friendly, and personal interactions with membership and guests to ensure they are happy with food and service
- Performs clerical duties such as handing out Application Packets, filing, and copying
- Keeps work areas clean, organized and stocked with essentials throughout the shift
- Effectively communicates with all staff to ensure member service is top of the line
- Follows the service mission statement to the fullest
- Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
