Receptionist - PRN

We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our hospital team on a Per Diem basis. This role is vital in ensuring smooth and secure operations at the hospital’s front desk. The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, patients, and staff, providing courteous and efficient service while maintaining building security. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.00 and includes opportunities for career advancement through demonstrated skills and dedication. The Receptionist’s responsibilities extend beyond greeting and directing visitors; this role is essential in maintaining communication flow across departments by managing phone and overhead paging systems, assisting the admissions coordinator when needed, and logging job applications. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, attentive to detail, and possess strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues. As this is a healthcare setting, the Receptionist also plays a key role in monitoring visitor conduct to ensure safety and security within the hospital environment.
