Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to provide coverage for admissions coordinator during breaks and as needed
  • Strong communication skills for handling phone calls and visitor interactions
  • Attention to detail in monitoring security and logging mail and applications
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment and telephone systems

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous receptionist experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Screen visitors to the appropriate location ensuring building security
  • Ensure all visitors sign in and wear a visitor's pass supplied by the receptionist
  • Provide daily coverage for admissions coordinator during breaks and when required
  • Connect and transfer calls to the appropriate party and perform overhead paging
  • Notify admissions coordinator when a customer requests a facility tour
  • Obtain wheelchairs for patients as needed
  • Report any unusual behavior in the lobby or parking area to facilities
  • Notify nursing when gifts for patients arrive for timely delivery
  • Postmark all outgoing mail and distribute incoming mail
  • Log all incoming job applications
