Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or receptionist role
- ability to maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations
- strong communication skills in English
- professional demeanor and composure
- capacity to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- ability to use telecommunication devices
- attention to detail
- self-starter with a strong sense of ownership
- ability to work independently
- adherence to hospital policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1 year customer service or receptionist experience
- excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- problem-solving skills with critical and creative thinking
- familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred
- experience with Workday is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet and direct visitors and patients to appropriate destinations
- follow rules and guidelines related to confidentiality
- perform clerical and receptionist duties as per hospital and departmental policies
- use telecommunication devices to receive and route calls
- maintain a professional and composed demeanor as the hospital’s initial representative
- prioritize tasks based on shifting demands while managing multiple responsibilities
- adhere to HIPAA regulations and protect patient and employee information confidentiality
