Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in receptionist or customer service role preferred
- Ability to work weekends including Saturdays and Sundays
- Basic computer skills including typing and use of a ten-key adding machine
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Willingness to work in an assisted living environment
- Ability to function as a team member
- Good interpersonal skills with all levels of staff, residents, families, and the public
Job Qualifications
- Experience in assisted living or senior care environment preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic clerical skills including typing and filing
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and families
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and interruptions calmly
- Conflict resolution capabilities
- Ability to work weekends for part-time coverage
Job Duties
- Provide information and referral to residents, visitors, staff, and prospective clients in a positive, service-oriented manner
- Maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor while managing front desk activities
- Perform basic clerical duties including typing, filing, and light bookkeeping
- Manage multiple interruptions effectively while staying organized
- Communicate clearly and resolve conflicts with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Collaborate with team members and support other departments as needed
- Ensure the reception area is welcoming and well-maintained
