This part-time Receptionist role at The Hairy Hound in Vacaville offers an amazing opportunity for candidates who have strong communication skills and a passion for customer service within the pet care industry. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, setting the tone for their experience with the salon. Key responsibilities for this role include greeting and assisting clients professionally, managing phone calls and scheduling grooming appointments using 123Pets software, maintaining tidy and organized front desk and grooming areas, and supporting customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction. The Receptionist will also contribute to office management duties that keep daily operations running smoothly. Candidates must exhibit strong time management skills and the ability to multitask efficiently to prioritize various assignments throughout the day.

An important aspect of this job is handling dogs of different sizes safely, which means candidates should either be experienced with animals or willing to learn proper handling techniques.
