JPC Architects is a well-established design firm based in the Pacific Northwest, specializing in corporate interiors and architecture. With over 30 years of experience and a dedicated team of 65 talented professionals, JPC Architects has built a reputation for creating innovative, client-focused designs that stand out in the industry. The company prides itself not only on its architectural excellence but also on cultivating a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture where creativity and collaboration thrive.
JPC Architects is currently seeking a part-time Receptionist to join their dynamic team. This role, which offers between 15 to 20 hours per week, serves as the crucial first point of contact for visitors, clients, and colleagues alike. As a Receptionist, you will be the "Director of First Impressions," responsible for welcoming guests warmly and maintaining the smooth operation of the front office. This position is key to ensuring that the firm's atmosphere remains friendly, efficient, and professional.
In this role, you will handle a variety of responsibilities beyond just greeting visitors. Your duties will include managing incoming phone calls with professionalism, supporting the front desk team in organizing events such as office parties and fundraisers, and maintaining office cleanliness. Additionally, you will oversee kitchen duties, including preparing beverages and tidying up post-events. Managing office supplies and proactively addressing shortages will also be an important aspect of your job. Flexibility and a positive, can-do attitude are essential as you take on various other administrative and support duties with creativity and enthusiasm.
This position offers a competitive pay range from $23 to $26 per hour. To support your daily commute, JPC Architects provides either a convenient parking spot or a bus pass, enhancing the work-life balance for their employees. Moreover, the company culture emphasizes both professional growth and personal enjoyment, hosting numerous social events like birthday celebrations, community outreach, group workout sessions, and happy hours. The office is known for its vibrant atmosphere and engaging activities that foster camaraderie among team members.
JPC Architects values individuals who can blend excellent communication skills and organizational prowess with a genuine enthusiasm for contributing to an innovative work environment. If you have at least one year of relevant office experience and are proficient with Microsoft Office applications, this role is an exciting opportunity to become part of a respected firm that balances hard work with fun and fosters a strong community spirit. Joining JPC means becoming a part of a family that appreciates and celebrates each member’s contributions while setting the standard for excellence in corporate design.
