Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred
  • ability to read and analyze business documents
  • effective communication skills
  • basic Microsoft Suite proficiency
  • knowledge of clerical functions and multi-line phone systems
  • ability to handle confidential information
  • physical ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
  • capacity to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods
  • frequent use of office equipment
  • no travel required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred
  • ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures
  • ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite products
  • experience with clerical functions and multi-line phone systems
  • problem-solving skills
  • ability to interpret written, oral, or diagram instructions

Job Duties

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
  • greet and welcome patients, clients, and visitors with a friendly demeanor
  • answer telephone calls and take or forward messages
  • check visitors in and direct or escort them
  • inform employees of visitors’ arrivals and cancellations
  • maintain visitor sign in log
  • handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings
  • maintain and tidy the reception area
  • perform other duties as assigned
  • agree not to disclose resident’s protected health information and report suspected violations
  • maintain confidentiality of resident care information
  • report unauthorized disclosure incidents
