Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • B.A., technical/vocational trade school, or apprenticeship
  • Ability to read technical English
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to sit and stand
  • Flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed
  • Must reside in Norfolk, Virginia

Job Duties

  • Greet clients, visitors, and employees with a positive, helpful attitude
  • Announce clients, visitors, and employees as necessary
  • Help maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs
  • Update and process access list for all prime contractors and ship access
  • Assist with a variety of administrative tasks including copying and faxing
  • Prepare meeting and training rooms
  • Answer phones in a professional manner and route calls as necessary
  • Answer, forward, and screen phone calls
  • Assist colleagues with administrative tasks
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Provide excellent customer service

  • Keep a safe and clean reception/lobby area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
