Job Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
One year experience as a general receptionist
Experience with computers
Ability to read, write and follow instructions
Ability to work well with diverse populations
Knowledge of age, disability, and cultural specifics for communication
Good physical and mental health
Ability to work under close supervision
Must successfully complete CPR certification and behavioral health de-escalation program
Ability to handle pressure and cope with a high-paced, stressful environment
Ability to spend 90 percent or more of time indoors

Job Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
One year experience working as a general receptionist
Experience with computers required
Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions
Experience working well with diverse populations
Knowledge of age, disability, and cultural specifics to communicate effectively with specialized populations
Good physical and mental health with empathetic attitude and respect toward clients
Ability to work under close supervision
CPR certification and completion of Oceans approved behavioral health de-escalation program preferred

Job Duties

Answering switchboard and assisting in clerical tasks as needed
Answer phones with appropriate etiquette and operate switchboard in a timely manner
Display willingness to help others and seek solutions to problems
Show commitment to customers and the organization
Manage stress constructively and accept constructive feedback
Use appropriate customer etiquette
Perform other duties and projects as assigned
