Job Duties

  • Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, and forward calls internally as appropriate
  • greet visitors, determine nature and purpose of visit, notify employees of visitors, and direct or escort visitors to specific destinations
  • perform routine administrative support tasks such as filing, printing, collating, mailing, and distributing mail and documents
  • provide routine information about the company and help resolve routine questions and complaints from customers and the general public
  • schedule appointments, update calendars, and serve as primary contact for conference room reservations
  • help train new or backup receptionists on front-desk best practice standards and processes
  • provide support for meeting and event planning
  • support new employee equipment setup
  • demonstrate commitment to highest standards of customer satisfaction by displaying courtesy and responding promptly to customer needs
