Job Duties
- Operates telephone switchboard to answer, screen, and forward calls internally as appropriate
- Greets visitors, determines nature and purpose of visit, notifies employees of visitors, and directs or escorts visitors to specific destinations
- Performs routine administrative support tasks such as filing, printing, collating, mailing, distributing mail and documents, supporting and maintaining the office
- Provides routine information about the company and helps resolve routine questions and complaints
- Schedules appointments, updates calendars, and serves as primary contact for conference room reservations
- Helps train new or backup receptionists on front-desk best practice standards and processes
- Provides support for meeting and event planning
