Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- two years direct experience as a receptionist
- ability to operate various office equipment
- basic computer skills including Word and PowerPoint
- ability to perform routine equipment functions including photocopying, copying, faxing
- excellent customer service skills
- professional attitude and appearance
- ability to work overtime and meet deadlines
- physical ability to bend, reach, sit for prolonged periods
- may lift or move up to 10 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- two years direct experience as a receptionist
- some prior experience working in a professional office environment preferred
- able to operate various office equipment
- basic computer skills required including Word and PowerPoint
- ability to perform routine functions of various equipment and systems including internal phone directory, office directory, photocopying, color copying, faxing
- excellent customer service skills
- professional attitude and appearance
- ability to work overtime and meet deadlines
Job Duties
- Handle all incoming calls using a main or floor switchboard
- route calls to appropriate party
- greet outside visitors in a professional manner
- sign for incoming and outgoing packages and route to appropriate party
- use internal paging system
- call for car service or messenger as requested by client
- perform filing, typing and other administrative duties as requested by client
- assist various departments with mass mailings
- receive and route faxes
- schedule conference room based on client requests and order catering as needed
- learn new features and functionalities of copying machines, faxes, scanning, other equipment, and PBX boxes
- prepare monthly production and volume reports to measure productivity and prepare billing charges
