Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year or more experience in healthcare setting preferred
- strong customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers considered
- willingness to contribute to patient experience improvement
- excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette
- team player mindset
- ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- attention to detail
- knowledge of MS Office
- participation in TB screening due to patient-facing role
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year or more experience in healthcare setting preferred
- strong customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers
- knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access
- excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- team player with positive attitude
- ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- attention to detail and highly organized
- knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- experience with electronic medical records systems preferred
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- experience with value-based care model preferred
Job Duties
- Receive and correctly route incoming and outgoing telephone calls
- accommodate visitors promptly, courteously, and accurately
- operate a multi-line switchboard and maintain long distance call logs
- take and distribute accurate messages
- greet visitors, issue visitor passes, and maintain visitor logs
- alert appropriate parties of visitor arrival or direct visitors
- respond to routine inquiries about organization location, hours, phone numbers, or email
- perform administrative tasks including booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, handling courier packages
