We are currently seeking a Front Desk Ambassador to join our team as a Receptionist. This is a key role that serves as the welcoming face and voice of Southeastern College, the first point of contact for students, staff, visitors, and prospective students alike. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, friendly, and highly organized, with the ability to multitask and maintain a warm, professional demeanor in a lively campus environment. This role offers an opportunity to be at the heart of campus life, ensuring that the lobby and reception area are inviting and well-managed while supporting campus activities and communications.

In this dynamic position, the Front Desk Ambassador will greet incoming guests with warmth and professionalism, efficiently direct incoming phone calls through a multi-line switchboard system, and relay messages promptly and accurately. The successful candidate will foster a welcoming atmosphere and will be an integral part of the college community, helping to ensure smooth communications and campus operations. A flexible schedule during daytime hours (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM) is required to meet the needs of the college and its students. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a background in customer service, strong computer skills particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel, and excellent communication abilities. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • customer service experience
  • flexible daytime schedule including 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • experience handling multi-line phone systems
  • proficient computer skills in Word and Excel
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
