- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Proficient in handling multiple tasks
- Commitment to patient confidentiality
- Availability to travel for front desk coverage as needed

- One year of office experience
- Two years of medical office experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism
- Proficiency in using office equipment and computer applications
- Bilingual preferred
Job Duties
- Provide superior patient care services treating all patients and guests with compassion and respect
- Greet all patients and guests with a smile and helpful manner
- Communicate effectively with patients, guests, colleagues, and physicians
- Provide patients with necessary instructions or directions
- Process patient documentation and update patient demographics with accuracy
- Triage incoming calls promptly and in a pleasant manner
- Review all phone messages and return calls timely or direct messages to appropriate persons
- Verify insurance and determine if prior authorizations or referrals are required
- Close out daily batches promptly and with accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized waiting room and work area
- Travel to surrounding HEA offices to provide front desk coverage when needed
- Adhere to HEA policies and procedures and comply with state and federal regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business operational needs
