Job Duties
- performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties to assist assigned supervisor
- coordinating work within the department and with other departments
- responding to inquiries or requests for information in a courteous and tactful manner
- handling correspondence and memos, preparing routine responses or redirecting matters appropriately
- preparing and developing confidential and routine correspondence, reports, forms, and business documents
- preparing preliminary work on various projects
- receiving and directing inter-office and U.S. mail, preparing bulk mailings for distribution
- organizing, monitoring, and maintaining general administrative records and filing systems
- providing customer service to residents and families as necessary
- reviewing and maintaining time and attendance records for supervisor's approval
- entering missed punches for staff and agency employees and daily hours reconciliation
- coordinating room setups and refreshments for meetings and conferences
- innovating and implementing new ideas to improve systems and processes
