Joining H&R Block as a seasonal Client Service Professional/Receptionist provides a unique opportunity to be the first point of contact for clients seeking tax services. This role is centered around building strong client relationships through exceptional service and attention to detail. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting clients, and efficiently matching them with tax professionals best suited to meet their specific needs. Scheduling flexibility plays a significant role as professionals accommodate client preferences for appointments, whether in person, over the phone, or virtually. Candidates will assist in making sure all client needs are addressed throughout their service experience while maintaining a clean, organized office environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible schedule and/or in multiple locations
  • Sales/marketing experience

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Job Duties

  • Answer phones and greet clients in a personalized, friendly, and inviting manner
  • Match clients with the best-suited tax professional for their needs
  • Schedule clients how they would like to be scheduled
  • Help to ensure all clients needs have been met during service both in person, over the phone or virtually
  • Maintain office cleanliness and organization of resources with team members
  • Other duties as assigned
