The role of Client Service Professional/Receptionist at H&R Block is designed to be a pivotal position during the seasonal tax period. As a Client Service Professional, you will be the welcoming face of H&R Block, responsible for greeting clients, managing scheduling, and matching clients with the most suitable tax professionals based on their unique needs. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible schedule and/or in multiple locations
  • Sales/marketing experience

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Computer proficient with the ability to use Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • Answer phones and greet clients in a personalized, friendly, and inviting manner
  • Match clients with the best-suited tax professional for their needs
  • Schedule clients how they would like to be scheduled
  • Help to ensure all clients needs have been met during service both in person, over the phone or virtually
  • Maintain office cleanliness and organization of resources with team members
  • Other duties as assigned
