Job Requirements
- Must be able to pass a Utah Child Care Licensing Background Check
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Must be calm under pressure
- Computer proficient with ability to type and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred
- Ability to work with a highly diverse population
- Must be discreet in screening visitors and using good judgment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings
- Willingness to cross train in the classroom
- Must be organized and discrete with filing confidential records
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work as a team member with other staff and families
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and work ethic
- Must pass Utah Child Care Licensing Background Check
- Obtain required preservice and annual training per Utah Child Care Licensing
- Complete and maintain current CPR, First Aid and Food Handlers Permit certifications
Job Duties
- Act as a professional first point of contact greeting children, families and guests with warmth and friendliness
- Answer incoming calls, transfer calls and take messages using the intercom and phone systems
- Maintain daily attendance records and compliance documents including fire drills and illness reports
- Manage inventory and ordering of office supplies
- Assist teaching staff and act as Director Designee when needed
- Maintain filing systems for confidential and general paperwork
- Use and maintain office equipment such as copiers
