Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- ability to pass Utah Child Care Licensing Background Check
- excellent English language skills both spoken and written
- ability to work calmly under pressure
- computer proficiency and typing skills
- ability to screen visitors discreetly and exercise good judgment
- flexibility to work Monday to Friday evening shifts
- willingness to cross-train in the classroom
- maintain professional appearance and work ethic
- comply with all local, state, and federal childcare laws
- ability to work pleasantly and professionally with teachers, children, and families
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- proficiency in computer use including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- friendly and approachable demeanor
- excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- must be at least 18 years old
- pass Utah Child Care Licensing Background Check
- obtain required childcare training and certifications
- bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
- previous experience in early childhood care preferred
- knowledge of Utah Child Care Licensing rules and regulations
- experience working with at-risk children and families preferred
Job Duties
- Greet children, families, and guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
- answer incoming phone calls and direct calls and messages
- manage the intercom system and security doors
- act as the Director Designee as needed
- assist teaching staff and collaborate as a team member
- record compliance documents including fire drills and incident reports
- maintain daily attendance records and handle confidential paperwork
