Spee Dee Delivery is known for its strong company culture that emphasizes dependability, professionalism, and customer satisfaction, creating a positive work environment for its employees.
The role of Hub Receptionist at Spee Dee Delivery is vital as the first point of contact for both callers and visitors. This full-time position operates from Monday to Friday during the hours of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 based on experience. The Hub Receptionist is responsible for managing all incoming telephone communications, directing calls to appropriate personnel or departments, and taking messages when necessary. In addition, the receptionist greets visitors and applicants with a professional and friendly demeanor, assisting them promptly and courteously.
The position also includes administrative responsibilities such as opening and closing the front lobby, managing walk-in customers, sorting and filing important documents, and maintaining a clean and orderly appearance of the lobby and office areas through light cleaning tasks. The receptionist is also tasked with updating the company’s phone directory and may be assigned other related duties as needed. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, alongside strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to handle a dynamic and high-volume work environment.

The ideal candidate will have prior reception, clerical, or administrative experience and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Physical requirements include the ability to sit for prolonged periods while working at a desk or answering the phone and the capacity to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Employees in this role benefit from a comprehensive package including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), an employee assistance program, a 401(k) plan, quarterly bonuses, and more.
