The role of Concierge at Priority Life Care is fundamental in delivering a warm, welcoming, and informative experience for guests, visitors, residents, and staff. Functioning as the reception desk operator and often recognized as the community's first point of contact, the Concierge is responsible for managing communications, greeting visitors, directing or escorting them, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This position requires excellent customer service skills and a courteous demeanor, ensuring that every interaction reflects the core values of PLC. Additionally, the Concierge is entrusted with maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations relevant to healthcare facilities, ensuring safety and professionalism throughout their duties. This role provides vital support in facilitating smooth operations and enhancing the overall community atmosphere at Priority Life Care. The Concierge position offers an hourly wage of $17 and promises a rewarding career path within a supportive and respectful workplace culture that honors diversity and inclusion. Ideal candidates will have prior customer service experience, a valid driver's license without recent violations, the ability to successfully pass background screening, and preferably experience in long-term care or related industries.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience
  • Valid driver's license with no moving violations in the last four (4) years
  • Must pass a background screening
  • Prior experience in long-term care, home health or related service industries, a plus

Job Duties

  • Works as the face of the community by providing a welcoming and informative experience for residents, their families, and the public
  • Operates telephones to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information and taking messages
  • Greets visitors entering establishment and directs or escorts them to specific destinations
  • Performs word processing duties as assigned
  • May assist guests in and out of vehicles or wheelchair
  • Reports any issues or problems that may arise to the Executive Director
  • Complies with state, federal, and all other applicable health care and safety standards
  • Assists families and other visitors as needed
  • Promotes and exemplifies the Priority Life Care mission and values at all times
