Job Description

MEDcare Urgent Care has been a trusted healthcare provider in South Carolina since 2007, known for delivering exceptional patient care across its 13 convenient locations. As part of the larger Urgent Care Group network, MEDcare is dedicated to providing fast, friendly, and affordable healthcare services to its communities. The centers are equipped with modern onsite facilities including digital X-ray, EKG, and common laboratory assays, enabling the clinical teams to offer comprehensive urgent care to patients with a variety of medical needs. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work three 12-hour shifts per week, no overnights
  • availability to work weekends
  • exceptional customer service skills
  • ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • preferred experience in healthcare facilities or with insurance providers

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • exceptional customer service skills
  • ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • experience in a healthcare facility such as medical office, urgent care, or ER preferred
  • familiarity with insurance providers and verification processes
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Compassionately greeting and assisting patients
  • accurately inputting patient information
  • verifying insurance and collecting copays
  • answering incoming calls with care
  • managing appointment scheduling and patient check-ins
  • coordinating communication between patients and clinical staff
  • handling patient inquiries and resolving issues promptly
