The Collision Center Receptionist role is a key position within our automotive repair facility, designed to provide an exceptional customer experience from the very first point of contact. Job Requirements

  • Must have collision center experience
  • automotive dealership experience a plus
  • service or hospitality industries experience a plus
  • previous retail and/or customer service experience
  • friendly with high energy and willingness to go above and beyond
  • excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills including ability to maintain composure under stress
  • strong organization skills
  • able to multi-task and manage time to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
  • conduct oneself in a professional manner
  • basic computer and Microsoft Office skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • previous retail and/or customer service experience
  • automotive collision center experience preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong organizational skills
  • basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • ability to multi-task and manage time in a fast-paced environment
  • maintain professional appearance and work ethic
  • team player with strong customer commitment
  • bilingual skills a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet customers that enter our Collision Center in a professional courteous manner
  • direct customers to appropriate team member to assist them
  • answer all incoming calls according to all company policies with exceptional telephone skills
  • direct phone calls to the appropriate parties as necessary
  • take written messages for occupied personnel and notify them as soon as possible regarding pending messages
  • coordinates questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel
  • address customer concerns and issues or escalate them as needed
  • help with clerical/office tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, sending bills, answering phones, ordering supplies
  • maintain confidentiality of company and customer information at all times
  • answer Collision Center department telephone calls to the people requested and best suited to take the call and take written messages when the needed personnel are not available
  • assist the service staff in contacting customers to inform them that their vehicles have been completed
  • perform other duties as assigned
