Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time
  • Ability to speak clearly, hear, and see
  • Ability to use arms, hands and fingers to work at a computer
  • Ability to answer multiple telephone calls and transfer calls using the current telephone system
  • Ability to write and read
  • Basic problem-solving reasoning capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous receptionist experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient with office telephone systems and computer usage
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Greet all customers entering the facility with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answer their questions, and direct them to the appropriate person or location
  • Direct customers to the correct department, notify the appropriate person that a customer is waiting, and introduce the customer to a salesperson or service advisor
  • Stay abreast of and help coordinate all aspects of dealership operation such as hours of operation, services offered, promotions and special events
  • Answer incoming phone calls, direct caller to appropriate department or individual or take a thorough message
  • Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Communicate messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Correctly cashier Service and Parts customers with a balanced cash drawer every day
