Job Requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency
- medical receptionist experience preferred
- knowledge of interpreting techniques and cultural differences
- ability to translate written and oral material accurately
- strong interpersonal skills
- proficiency in Microsoft office applications
- attention to detail
- ability to multitask
- knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations
- ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:45am to 4:45pm
- availability to work in San Marcos, TX

- One year minimum of experience as receptionist in a medical setting

- graduation from an accredited college with an associate degree preferred
- one year of interpreting experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Job Duties
- Greet clients
- manage client check-ins and scheduling
- answer and redirect phone calls professionally
- process co-pays
- place appointment reminder calls
- maintain front desk and waiting areas cleanliness and stock
- receive and relay insurance information
- process incoming faxes
- record client cancellations
- maintain knowledge of emergency procedures
- attend administrative meetings
- observe patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
- translate documents and conversations between English and Spanish
- provide accurate interpretation of therapeutic procedures and terminology
- assist with administrative backup
- carry out projects assigned by management
