Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of direct customer service experience
  • Ability to serve the community with trust, dignity, and respect
  • Working knowledge of general office clerical methods and telephone procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions
  • Ability and willingness to perform job-related travel to all three regional locations
  • Must maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of direct customer service experience required
  • One year as a receptionist and one year of general clerical duties preferred
  • Ability to serve the community in a way that builds trust, instills dignity, and shows respect
  • Working knowledge of general office clerical methods and telephone procedures
  • Strong communication skills with courtesy and diplomacy
  • Basic computer skills knowledge
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions and work effectively with others
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) required

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service behaviors in internal/external interactions
  • Provide a professional and welcoming experience by greeting and assisting all visitors, clients, and guests, and directing them to the appropriate staff or program
  • Answer phone calls and general questions, offering information about programs, services, and locations, and connect clients with external community resources when needed
  • Maintain orderliness of reception area and adhere to LEAN guidelines
  • Manage and schedule meeting rooms for internal organization requests
  • Stay up to date on all program services, hours of operation, and locations to provide accurate and reliable information
  • Perform clerical duties as needed to support various departments, including signing for packages and assisting with special projects
  • Collaborate with reception team to identify opportunities for improvements in customer support processes
  • Monitor inbound calls to identify trends or public concerns and report feedback to supervisor
  • Attend all required meetings
  • Perform special projects as assigned including those in support of public health emergency operations
