We operate within an industry where precision, quality, and customer service are paramount, making our team members vital to our continued success and growth. Our Fort Wayne location serves as a hub for both operational efficiency and administrative excellence, supporting a diverse range of departments including sales, warehousing, and customer service. We believe in empowering our employees with the tools and support necessary to thrive in their roles and contribute meaningfully to the company’s objectives.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and versatile Receptionist and Documentation Specialist to join our Human Resources Department. This hybrid position uniquely combines front desk operations with internal documentation responsibilities, offering an ideal opportunity for a professional who enjoys both customer interaction and meticulous administrative work. Working under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, this full-time role operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is classified as non-exempt, making the position eligible for overtime.
As the first point of contact, the Receptionist and Documentation Specialist will represent our company to customers, vendors, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. In parallel, the role supports the maintenance and management of internal documentation, including company policies, procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and employee handbooks. This position requires a proactive individual with exceptional organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with documentation platforms like SharePoint and Confluence are important for success in this role.
The ideal candidate will have a background that includes administrative or receptionist experience, coupled with familiarity or interest in technical and business writing. Knowledge of industrial products and terminology related to pipes, valves, and fittings will be highly advantageous. The ability to communicate clearly with diverse teams across the organization is essential, as the role involves coordinating information flow between departments such as sales, warehouse, and HR. This position offers a unique blend of dynamic customer-facing duties and detailed documentation tasks, making it an engaging and multifaceted role within our Human Resources Department.
